日本コーフボール協会が IKF World Korfball Awards -Innovation-を受賞

IKF General Meeting 2023において、日本コーフボール協会は、国際コーフボール連盟の表彰である IKF World Korfball Awards -Innovation-（世界コーフボールアワード・イノベーション部門）を受賞しました。日本コーフボール協会の国際的な賞の受賞は史上初めてとなります。

受賞対象は「VICUSコーフボール杉並」「浅草らいもんず」「湘南横浜コーフボールクラブ」が所属する「Sports World」の仕組みで「コーフボールを他のスポーツと組み合わせたサブスクライブサービスとして提供することで、日本におけるコーフボールの普及に多大に貢献した点」です。

受賞理由

“Using a Korfball Subscription Service Combined with Other Sports World, the provider of a monthly subscription service that combines korfball with other sports, has made a significant contribution to the promotion of korfball. With over 20 sports offered on a daily basis, Sports World has established a pathway for participants from other sports to engage in korfball.”
